UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon slammed on Wednesday the terrorist attack that targeted Karrada district in Baghdad on Sunday and left 168 people dead and 185 others wounded.
"The UN will continue to support Iraq in its bids to overcome security challenges," the UN chief said in a cable of condolences to Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al Abadi.
He also offered condolences to the victims' families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
