Colleen Hoover does it again, she writes another masterpiece, but a different kind. It Ends With Us is a book that will be in your memory for the longest time and you will think about it long after reading it.
The book follows a woman named Lily who grew up in an abusive house, her father mistreated her mother and Lily didn’t understand why her mother didn’t leave. Lily meets a neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid. Ryle is everything Lily wanted in a man, he is handsome, smart and kind, and almost too perfect.
If I can describe this book in one word, it would be powerful. It is one of those books that shows you and makes you feel and experience things by using words and nowadays it’s so rare to find a book that makes you understand that. I loved everything about this book and I can’t seem to find something I didn’t like; it is everything a book should be.
One of the things I absolutely loved was the roller-coaster of emotions it made me go through, I can’t remember feeling so emotional reading a book. I’m pretty sure this will be one of my favourite books of all times and I’m so glad I read it. I highly recommended everyone to read this book, but don’t forget to bring tissues because I am sure that it will make you cry.

A quote from the book: “Just because someone hurts you doesn’t mean you can simply stop loving them. It’s not a person’s actions that hurt the most. It’s the love. If there was no love attached to the action, the pain would be a little easier to bear.”
