“Badr al-Bodour Wa Albert al-Mashour” Cairo – Mohammed Allouch Rehearsals for the play “Badr al-Bodour Wa Albert al-Mashour” have began in Egypt, ahead of performances later this month. The show, written by Siham Abdel Salam and directed by Bassim Qanawi will feature at the Metropole Theatre at the end of November. Qanawi said the show plays on children’s fear of the unknown and encourages them to explore worlds beyond their imagination. He said the play is not just for children, but also for their parents to enjoy and learn from. “Badr al-Bodour” stars Aza Labib, child actress May al-Ghayti, Fadi Khafaja, Hadi Barakat and a group of children from the National Theatre workshop. The set is designed by Philip Boles and the play is directed by Basim Qanawi.
