8 doctors will arrive at the refugee camp Gaza - Mohammed Habib A medical delegation, headed by former Palestinian health minister, Dr Bassem Naim left Gaza on Monday evening through Rafah crossing to visit the Syrian-Turkish border in order to help and treat wounded Palestinians and Syrians. In a press statement, Bassem Naim said: "The delegation is composed of eight doctors who will travel on a medical humanitarian mission on behalf of the Palestinian people to support the Syrians." He added that this move comes as an appreciation to the Syrian people who have helped Palestinians over the past few years. The delegation team will stay for a week - which may however be extended depending on the needs and circumstances of refugees within the camps. Dr Naim also predicted that similar delegations will be organised for the future.
