Luxor Governor Tarek Saad Eldin says all relevant agencies in the city are ready to host the third edition of Luxor Egyptian and European Film Festival, slated for January 24.
In a press conference, held Saturday to announce the festival details, the governor added a joint operations room was formed in this regard.
The festival is also an opportunity to promote tourism to the tourist hub, he pointed out.
The festival is organized by the Noon Foundation for Culture and Arts with help from Egyptian Ministry of Culture as well as public and private organizations in Egypt and Europe and aims to showcase the finest films directed by both Egyptians and Europeans.
