Iraqi Culture Minister Faryad Rawanduzi said the Middle East countries and civilizations are threatened by the barbaric acts and demolition schemes of Daesh.
Speaking at the 3rd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, the Iraqi minister reiterated that Arab culture and civilization are in danger, calling for working out a strong strategy to repel such aggressive schemes and demolition by the militant group.
He also called for banning youths from various countries to join them.
The 3rd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, held Monday and Tuesday in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, is organized in close collaboration with the Government of Azerbaijan, UNESCO, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), the World Tourism Organization, the Council of Europe and Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).
It is held under the theme: “Culture and sustainable development in the post-2015 development agenda".
