Al Azhar university Cairo - Arab Today Al Azhar university regretted Tuesday what it called misuse of right to expression and non-peaceful demonstrations staged by some students of the university. The university said in a statement that protesting students closed main gates to the administrative building and destroyed walls and some automated teller machines. Meantime, the University president has stepped in to release four engineering faculty students who were arrested by police over suspicious activities same as he did last week when three other students were held by Nasr City police.
