Teargas smoke during clashes at al-Azhar University Cairo - Arab Today Clashes erupted at Al-Azhar University between Muslim Brotherhood students and the dorm's security staffers, according to a security source at the university. The confrontations took place when the students staged a protest outside the dorm in an attempt to block the road. However, security forces prevented them from leaving the building, the source said. The students set fire to trees and hurled stones on security personnel who tried to calm them down but in vain, the source added. Source: MENA
