GMU officials are delighted with the software London - Arabstoday Gulf Medical University (GMU) has become the first in the Middle East to open a high-tech examination testing centre for medical students, Gulf News has reported. Professor Chandramouli, Dean of Assessment and Evaluation at GMU, said that the software system, called ExamSoft, offers an exam management solution which delivers powerful actionable data to assess achievement of student learning outcomes and improve student learning through engagement and remediation. \"The use of examination management software system and implementation of online examination can enhance the quality of services and maintain high standards,\" he claimed. GMU has signed an agreement with the US National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) to administer the exam for the MBBS students from the academic year 2013.
