TAGIUNI and British Council representatives Amman - Arabstoday The British Council and Jordan's Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University (TAGIUNI), the cloud-based gateway to the world's best education, signed a cooperation agreement at the TAGIUNI regional office in Amman to promote world-class online education. The increasing prevalence and quality of online education has led many education providers to consolidate their efforts to reach a wider base of students. Under the auspice of Dr Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, president of TAGIUNI, the signing took place between Marc Jessel, country director of the British Council, and Salah Abu-Osbeh, vice president of TAGIUNI. Dr Abu-Ghazaleh said: "We are proud to partner with the British Council for the second time which means we are definitely on the right track. I believe that joining our forces with this reputable international institution will benefit students all over the world to get the best educational programmes available in terms of English language." Marc Jessel said: "The cooperation agreement enables TAGIUNI to promote the British Council's Learn English Pathways, a series of self-access courses for adult learners that provides the highest quality standards for online education. A programme designed for the times, Learn English Pathways addresses learners' needs, at their own pace, to improve their English reading, writing, and comprehension skills for the global marketplace." The British Council and TAGIUNI have a strong history of partnership, and this is the second agreement signed between the two institutions. The first agreement facilitated TAGIUNI as a certified testing centre for the British Council's Aptis English language test. Together, the two institutions have cooperated on several projects to promote the highest quality of education across the globe.
