The Egyptian Radio has prepared special coverage for the opening ceremony of the New Suez Canal, slated for Thursday.
The radio will broadcast several languages live coverage, including Arabic, English, French, German, Italian and Russian, along with Swahili and Amharic African languages.
The ceremony, including speeches of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and visitors, will be translated into several languages.
On air interviews with members of diplomatic missions and foreign communities in Cairo will also be broadcast, along with recorded programs hosting former secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa, ambassadors Mona Omar and Badr Abdel Ati, SIS Chairman Salah al Din Abdel Sadek, maritime transport expert Samir Mouawad and journalist Farida al Shobashi.
Programs will also be broadcast in Hebrew.
