Kuwait's radio achievement in launching "Minos" developed studio reflects its keenness on staying abreast of latest technologies to boost communication with its Arab counterparts, Assistant Undersecretary at Ministry of Information Fahad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah said on Tuesday.
He added in remark to KUNA that starting from January of the year 2015, joint radio programs will be broadcasted along with other Arab radios, and the studio will be connected with Arab News & Program Exchange Center in Algeria.
This system offers new technologies in the field of multimedia radio exchange and contributes in offering modern and developed services, of low-costs, and high economic payoff, he said.
The project allows any subscriber of sending any radio material from one point to another within the coverage area, without any interference and with high quality because of the multimedia system that connects all the Arab radio in one network, he mentioned.
Minos system in Kuwait radio is considered the second in the Arab world, following Saudi Arabia, he said.
This developed studio will be capable of archiving radio programs besides sending and receiving them. He affirmed.
