Your Anon News Service to provide breaking reports London - James Campbell Hacking group, Anonymous, have announced a new citizen journalism venture. The controversial “hacktivists” have crowd sourced over $54,000, exceeding their initial goal of $2,000, to set up a news website akin to Twitter. The site will be run by Anonymous and create a community to bring together and expand their current Your Anon News service. A statement issued by the group said the money will allow them to: “engineer a new website to collect breaking reports and blogs from the best independent reporters online.” The group said it would be “beneficial” to create a community that existed beyond, “simple social media interactions.” Anonymous has recently targeted North Korean sites, including the national twitter feed.
