Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs Salah Al Din Mezwar stressed the need for more cooperation between the African States to pave the way for building ambitious and pragmatic continent. He added that Africa will not achieve any development without economic cooperation, calling for drafting a serious vision to the ways of cooperation between the developing nations.
He praised Africa and Development Forum, saying that it provided a clear opportunity to over 30 African States to express their desire to work together to pave the way for achieving sustainable development. He praised the role performed by economic blocs to support the financial positions of the African States.
He added that his country aspires to join ECOWAS, saying that if his country joined the economic group, it would support integration and provide good opportunity to exchange experiences in the different fields, including human resources and immigration policies.
