London - AFP

Omani goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi is set to leave the Premier League\'s Bolton and join near neighbours Wigan. Al Habsi impressed last year when he was loaned out to the Latics, but manager Roberto Martinez has so far been unable to work out a permanent deal for his services. Press reports, however, have said that a fee in the region of £4 million is likely to be concluded within the next 24 hours. It will represent a good move for all parties, given Al Habsi had little chance of ousting Jussi Jaaskelainen at the Reebok Stadium. \"We could easily have kept him but I have to be fair to Ali,\" said Bolton manager Owen Coyle. \"It is good business. If that is concluded, we will wish him well. \"He did well at Wigan last year and they have tried to secure his services.\" However, England defender Gary Cahill did return to training with Bolton despite huge speculation over his future, with Tottenham amongst those believed to be interested. \"Gary has been the subject of speculation every day, probably to the point he is frustrated by it,\" said Coyle. \"I have been very open. Some of the elite clubs in this country have noted their interest. \"But there has been nothing concrete. Until that changes, Gary is a Bolton player.\"
