German Bundesliga powerhouse Bremen surprisingly shared points with first division newbie Augsburg on Friday.Bremen failed to win the third match in row as they were unable to utilize their goal scoring opportunities. As expected Bremen took over from the start against passive Augsburg but it was the Bundesliga newbie that opened the scoring as Augsburg defender Alex Bellinghausen exploited a black out by Bremens defence to open the scoring four minutes into second half. Bremen started a run on Augsburgs goal but goalkeeper Simon Jentzsch was able to deny the equalizer until the 68th minute as Bremen top striker Claudio Pizzaro headed home at the last post. Augsburg remains on 16th position with seven points whereas Bremen climbs on 3rd position with 17 points. \"For us it was a lucky draw. Bremen dominated the match. So we are happy about the point\", Augsburg coach Jos Luhukay. The following matches are set for Saturday, tenth match day: defending champion Dortmund vs. Cologne, Nuremberg vs. Stuttgart, Kaiserslautern vs. Freiburg, Hoffenheim vs. Monchengladbach, Berlin vs. Mainz and bottom team Hamburg vs. Wolfsburg.
