Real Madrid extended the contract of German playmaker Toni Kroos for two more years, until 2022, the European champions said on Wednesday.
Kroos, 26, joined Real from Bayern Munich in 2014and has helped The Whites to win the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
His original contract was due to expire in 2020, DPA reported, but has now been extended to 2022, reportedly accompanied by a substantial salary increase.
