Las Vegas City FC have revealed plans to turn a one-off appearance for the club by Brazil legend Ronaldinho into a permanent move.
Ronaldinho will wear the Las Vegas City shirt in a home friendly against Miami United on Saturday.
The Florida outfit will have a star name of their own, having signed Ronaldinho's former Brazil teammate Adriano earlier this year.
"The doors are open," Las Vegas City's Brazilian president Marcio Granada told Brazilian portal Globoesporte on Friday.
"We have only agreed to this match. He is a good friend of Adriano. It would be a dream come true if he signed with Las Vegas City. If Ronaldinho wanted to, he could still be among the top 10 players in the world. The quality that he has, the strength, his natural physical fitness is at another level."
Granada said he would try to coax the two-time FIFA World Player of the Year to consider the proposal in the coming days.
"It's a matter of asking him what he wants and what he needs. What do we need to do so that he is our No. 10?" he added.
Founded this year, Las Vegas City will play their inaugural season in the United Premier Soccer League, the equivalent of US football's fifth tier.
Ronaldinho has not played competitively since ending an unhappy two-month spell with Rio de Janeiro outfit Fluminense last September.
In April, Ronaldinho's brother and agent said the 36-year-old former Barcelona star would likely sign with a Chinese or US-based club in the second half of the year.
