Porto moved level with Benfica on 17 points at the top of the Liga standings with a 3-0 victory at ten-man Academica. Goals inside the opening hour from Walter, James Rodriguez and Fredy Guarin put last season\'s champions in complete control before Academica had Ba Abdoulaye sent off with nine minutes remaining. Third-placed Braga were unable to make it a three-way tie at the summit after they slumped to their first defeat of the campaign, Luis Leal scoring the only goal in the 27th minute to give Uniao Leiria the spoils. Joining Braga on 14 points are Sporting Lisbon, who despite playing from the 22nd minute with a man less following Fabian Rinaudo\'s dismissal beat Guimaraes 1-0 thanks to Diego Capel\'s seventh-minute goal, and Maritimo. Maritimo had won four successive games heading into their trip to Feirense but they had to settle for a 2-2 draw. Feirense twice led through a brace from Siaka Bamba but Maritimo equalised both times with goals from Serra Olberdam and Danilo Dias. Feirense had Andre Fontas sent off in the last minute but Maritimo could not take advantage. In tonight\'s other game, Nacional defeated Olhanense 1-0 with an early goal from Elizeu.
