Valenciennes earned their second Ligue 1 win of the season and climbed out of the bottom three with a convincing 3-0 display against Sochaux at the Stade du Hainaut. Vincent Aboubakar scored in each half, with Foued Kadir also finding the back of the net to send Sochaux to their fourth defeat of the season. Valenciennes fully deserved their half-time lead after they created all the chances in the opening period Gael Danic went close in the eighth minute when Kadir raced towards the area and released the midfielder, who pulled his shot across the goal, missing the post by a couple of inches. Mathieu Dossevi then had his shot cleared by Yassin Mikari in the 26th minute before Kadir\'s header was just wide five minutes before the break. Aboubakar starts the scoring Aboubakar managed to open the scoring two minutes before the break when he superbly controlled Gaetan Bong\'s long throw and volleyed the ball into the top corner of Teddy Richert\'s goal. Sochaux started the second half strongly as they looked to find a way back into the game, but they failed to convert their chances. Sloan Privat\'s 49th-minute strike was saved by Valenciennes goalkeeper Nicolas Penneteau before Ryad Boudebouz\'s free-kick from outside the area skimmed past the post. Kadir then doubled Valenciennes\' lead in the 70th minute. Mody Traore retrieved the ball in midfield and quickly freed Danic on the left, who crossed the ball to Kadir at the far post, where the striker cut the ball in from close range. Aboubakar deflected the third goal home from Kadir\'s strike five minutes later to seal the win.
