Zamalek's Mortada Mansour said Monday he may resign from his club's chairmanship after "achieving all his dreams for the team."
In statements for Zamalek's official site, Mansour reaffirmed his team would withdraw from the Egyptian Premier League for what he called "clear corruption" of referees.
He added that he phoned President of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) Hany Abo Rida to protest against the referee's performance in the EPL's match between Ahly and Misr el Makasa, which was the reason behind Zamalek board's unanimous decision to withdraw from the league.
On Sunday, Mansour claimed that the referees always support Zamalek's rivals "El Ahly" in an attempt to block his team's chances to win the championship.
