The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced on Monday that Ahly-Maqassa game will be played in Cairo on 23 December, a day after initially scheduled because two other games will be played that same day. Security forces have requested to take the game out of Cairo because of the unrest reigning in the Egyptian capital which resulted in 13 deaths and hundreds of wounded. However, the EFA officials failed to reach a deal with Al-Max stadium (Alexandria) to host the game that bounced back to Cairo stadium but with a 24-hour delay. Consequently the EFA has to re-adjust Ahly’s schedule postponing Ismaily and Ghazl El Mahala games to the 27 and 31 December, a day after initially scheduled.
