Ahly midfielder Walid Soliman is ready for Friday’s match against Ittihad in Alexandria on day four of the Egyptian Premier League season after recovering from a groin injury. “Soliman is fit and ready for the game after he recovered from the injury that sidelined him for the Gouna match,” Ahly’s doctor Ehab Saleh was quoted as saying on the club’s official website. The 26-year-old, a new Ahly signing, injured his groin in the 2-2 draw with his former club Petrojet last week. Title holders, Ahly, are fifth in the league table with five points from a possible nine, one point behind leaders Ittihad Al-Shorta.
