Two goals each from Amad Al Hosni and Brazilian Victor Simoes helped Al Ahli move back to within a point of Saudi League leaders Al Shabab with a 4-0 win at Al Ittifaq. The visitors showed no ill effects from their AFC Champions League loss at Qatar\'s Lekhwiya last Wednesday, taking a 33rd-minute lead through Al Hosni\'s 14th goal of the season. Simoes ensured the win with two goals in two minutes at the start of the second half in the 47th and 49th minutes, before Al Hosni added his second and Al Ahli\'s fourth in the 74th minute. Third-placed Al Hilal lost ground on the top two as they were held to a 1-1 draw at struggling Al Raed. Saadi Al Harthi gave Al Hilal a 36th-minute lead but Yahya Al Muslem equalised ten minutes from time.
