Al-Gharaffa, al-Rayyan victorious in Qatar Basketball Cup

Al Gharaffa and Al Rayyan clubs recorded deserving victories in the competitions of Qatar Basketball Cup 2014 held at Al Gharaffa Indoor hall on Saturday. In the first match, Qatar Basketball League Champions, Al Gharaffa SC made a comfortable 96-67 victory over Al Khor in the group A clash. Likewise , Al Rayyan basketball team ensured a convincing 83-74 victory over Al-Wakrah in the second playoff. Two encounters are scheduled for group B on Sunday, Al Sadd will lock horns against Al Arabi, while Al Shamal will shake hands with El Jaish in the second match. Source: Qatar Olympic Committee
