Al Sadd began Saturday its 2012/2013 Star League campaign in thrilling fashion after they came from behind to beat Al Araby 2-1 on the Jassim bin Hamad stadium in Al Sadd club. Al Araby scored the first goal of the game in the 9th minute, courtesy of a penalty kick that was converted by Hussein Kharja. However, Al Sadd players did not flinch and struck back quickly in the 25th minute through Mohammed Kasoula. Al Sadd took the lead 20 minutes later through Mamadou Niang. With that win Al Sadd start the season with a 100% record and will look to build on the good result in order to have a good season.
