Al Shabab kept their slim Etisalat Pro League title hopes alive when Brazilian forward Ciel struck in the first half after Hamdan Qassim laid him up for goal to give a narrow 1-0 victory over Bani Yas. Al Shabab coach Paulo Bonamigo will be hoping his side carry the winning momentum next week when they face Al Wasl at home. Diego Maradona\'s men thrashed Emirates Club 4-1 on Saturday in their \'home\' match played in Ajman. The Cheetahs were unable to host Emirates in their own Zabeel stadium in Dubai as they continue to serve their three-match home ban due to crowd unrest during their 2-1 win over Bani Yas on February 9. In the other league match on Sunday, Al Wahda travelled to relegation threatened Dubai Club but could not get past their defence. The match ended in a goalless draw at the Police Officers Club Stadium.
