Diego Maradona\'s Al-Wasl returned to UAE Pro-League action with a 1-0 defeat at second-placed Al-Jazira. After a month without a league game, Ricardo Oliveira\'s 85th-minute strike condemned Al-Wasl to a defeat that drops them to sixth in the standings. Ajman moved above them on goal difference thanks to a 3-1 home win over Al Wahda. Olivier Tia and Waleed Ahmed gave the hosts a two-goal cushion and while Hugo made it 2-1 with a 66th-minute penalty, Hassan Matouq made the game safe from the spot five minutes later. Bani Yas won 2-0 at Al-Emirates after goals from Ibrahim Saeed and Andre Senghor.
