Algerian judokas have been crowned African (team) champions 2014, following their 4-1 win against Egypt in the tournament's final, Saturday, in Port-Louis (Mauritius Island).
Algerian women's judokas ranked second in team events, after their defeat (3-2) against Tunisians in the tournament's final, on the same day.
On Friday, Algerian judokas won individual events against Tunisia (2nd) and Egypt (3rd).
Algerian male and female judokas have snatched a total of 17 medals (five gold, six silver and six bronze).
