Algerian cyclist Abderahmane Mansouri won Wednesday gold medal in the individual road race (seniors) of the Arab Cycling Championships in Annaba while his team mate Azzedine Laagab snatched the bronze medal.
Mansouri cycled 144 km in 3h 41m 09s, ahead of Iraqi Ali Abdelkader. For his part, Laagab achieved a time of 3h 42m 31s.
For team road race (seniors), the Algerian team snatched the gold medal (11h 08m 42s) followed by Morocco (11h 12m 18s) and Iraq (11h 14m 11s).
Algeria has won 12 medals (7 gold, 3 silver 2 bronze) so far.
