Barcelona's basketball outfit clinched their second successive IHF Super Globe handball confederations cup, beating Qatar's Al-Sadd, 34-26, in the final.
The triumph was made despite the Catalonian outfit edging the first half, 16-14, but ultimately making a huge comeback in the second half marked by experience.
Barcelona become only the second club to have defended their title since their Spanish compatriots Real Sociedad were back-to-back holders in both 2007 and 2010 at the event held in Qatar for the fifth time in a row.
Meanwhile, SG Flensburg-Handewitt of Germany beat Qatar's Al-Jaish to take third.
Spanish clubs are by far the leaders in the tournament which was founded in 1997 with six titles, followed by Qatar and Germany with one apiece.
