Board member of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) Magdi Abdel Ghani said Saturday Cairo derby match between Zamaelk and Ahly would not be delayed or moved.
In statements to MENA, Abdel Ghani added that a final decision was taken by the EFA board to stage the match on Thursday at Alexandria's Burg el Arab Stadium as scheduled.
No plans neither to delay, nor to move the match, Abdel Ghani said.
The match can not be returned to Cairo's Petrosport Stadium after receiving security clearances to stage it in Alexandria, he added.
EFA did not receive any official requests from Zamalek to delay the game, the board member said.
Earlier in the day, Zamalek Chairman Mortada Mansour said his club refuses to play Cairo derby against its rival al Ahly on Alexandria's Burg el Arab Stadium.
In statements to MENA, Mansour demanded to move the match, slated for Thursday, to Cairo's Petrosport Stadium.
