Chile will warm up for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ with friendlies against African heavyweights Egypt and European opposition in the shape of Northern Ireland, their federation announced. Chile, who reached the last-16 in the 2010 World Cup, will play Egypt on 30 May in Santiago and the Northern Irish in Valparaiso on 4 June. Neither of those sides have qualified for the finals in Brazil but the Chileans will face a fellow finals-bound team in Germany in Stuttgart on 5 March. Chile have been given a tough task to progress from their group, Group B, where they have been drawn with holders Spain, the Netherlands - who were beaten by the Spanish in the 2010 final - and Australia. The finals get underway on 12 June and run until 13 July. Source: FIFA.com
