Ahly\'s legendary midfielder said on Thursday he may not renew his contract with the club which will expire at the next summer, adding the current circumstances force him \'strongly\' to leave the club. Abou-Treika who joined Ahly in January 2004, was under-fire since his controvertial decision to abandon the Egypt Super Cup when he heeded the call of the team’s hardcore fans (Ultras Ahlawy), who vowed not to let the Cairo giants feature in the annual Super Cup three weeks ago. Despite the sympathies of Ahly\'s fans with the classy playmaker, the club\'s board suspended the player for two months and handed him LE500,000 fine. \"All the circumstances invite me to leave the club,\" Abou Treika was quoted as saying by Ahram Sports on Thursday without revealing these circumstances. The 33-year-old midfielder revealed that the club\'s management didn\'t talk with him concerning the renewing of his contract with the club. \"I am one of six players who their contracts will expire next summer but the club\'s management didn\'t talk with any player concerning the renewing of the contracts.\" \"May be they are occupied by the team\'s fate in the CAF Champions League which prepare to play the semis,\" he added The veteran midfielder denied having any differences with his teammates as a consequence of his decision to skip the Super Cup. \"All problems are passe now. My relation with all teammates is excellent and I would leave the club if this wass not the case.\" Abou-Treika said also he will welcome the renewal of his contract with the club if they will accept his in condition to loan him abroad. \"I will renew my contract with the club if they promise to give me the chance to play abroad even on a one-year loan deal,\" Abou-Treika revealed. \"Several Gulf clubs have made offers to sign me,\" he confirmed. Concerning the club\'s sanctions, Abou-Treika said that he accepts the punishment. \"I respect Ahly and I totally accept the punishment,\" the veteran player said. Abou-Treika revealed that he hopes that the club succeeds to reach the CAF Champions League final as he will be able to play the second leg of the final set scheduled for 11 November as his suspension will expire in the 6th of the same month. \"I hope to play with the club in the final,\" he concluded.
