Al Ain maintained their lead at the top of the UAE League after beating Al Jazira 3-1 today. On-loan Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan scored twice for Al Ain who are now four points clear of Al Jazira as a result. Juma Abdullah did equalise for Jazira, but Fawzi Fayez restored Ain\'s lead before Gyan completed his double. Al Shabab are up to third after a 5-1 win at Al Emirates. Suroor Salim put Shabab ahead just before the break and although Mouhsinne Moutouali briefly levelled, they cruised home thanks to further strikes from Carlos Villanueva, Naser Masood, who grabbed a brace, and Rashid Hassan. The day\'s other game saw Al Sharjah draw 1-1 with Dubai. Hassan Mohamed put Dubai ahead before Marcelinho restored parity.
