Al-Ahly have accepted an offer from Saudi club Hajar for the loan transfer of striker Oussou Konan. The Ivory Coast international decided to move on after failing to break through into Ahly's first team. The club's Director of Marketing and Investment Magdy Tolba held negotiations with Hajar and a deal worth around 200,000 US dollars was agreed. Hajar first contacted the player upon recommendation from their Egyptian coach Tarek Yehia, who coached Konan at Misr El-Makasa. Meanwhile, Al-Ahly have postponed contract negotiations with Mohamed Aboutrika, Hossam Ghaly, Mohamed Barakat, Wael Gomaa, Sherif Abdel-Fadil, Sayed Moawad and Saad Samir until after the 2014 World Cup.
