Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, will tomorrow host the sixth round of the 2012/2013 Bahrain Karting Sprint Championship (BKSC) at its world-class VIVA Karting Track in Sakhir. The meeting will feature plenty of hotly contested action in both the Bahrain Rotax Mojo Max Championship (BRMMC) and the Sodi Sprint W Series (SSWS). The BRMMC is reserved for Rotax kart owners who will be able to choose their class based on the specific sporting rules of the category. The classes include the Junior Max, Max and Max Masters. The SSWS, meanwhile, is a commercial arrive-and-drive category, where karts are provided by the championship organiser. Two races in each class of the BRMMC will then be held over the course of the evening, along with another two races in the SSWS. Action is scheduled to begin from 7.30pm. All are welcome to attend tonight’s meeting. Entrance to VIVA Karting Track is free of charge. Heading into this evening’s proceedings, Adeeb Kuzbar currently leads the Max category with 528 points. Abdulla Al Thawadi follows now far behind in second place with 524 points, while Hussain Al A’ali is third on 450 points. Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa ranks fourth with 293 markers and Mohammed Rayyan fifth on 284 points. In the Max Juniors division, Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa leads in first place with 525 points. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa trails in second place with 521 points, while His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Khalifa is third on 517 points.
