His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held a telephone conversation with His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to congratulate him on accomplishing another historic achievement for the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Open European Endurance Championship 2013 held in the Czech Republic. 89 riders and horses from 22 countries, including Bahrain Royal Team, United Arab Emirates and Sultanate Oman, competed to win the title of the European Championship 2013 along 160 km which was divided into six stages. The Royal team leader, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, deserved the third place after competing for more than 12 hrs. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa asserted this achievement is one of the greatest achievements in the European tournaments that I couldn\'t have achieved without the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and this achievement is a great motive for further future achievements. Al-Khalidiyah Stables leader HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa presented this achievement to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in response to HM the King\'s support delivered for them as athletes, and commended the high spirit of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Chairman of the Royal Equestrian and Endurance, Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, said it was an emotional moment when the third place was seized by the Royal team in the midst of a fierce competition, he presented this victory for His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and praised the efforts of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in the tournament.
