Kuwait's Kazma sports club were kicked out of the 32nd Arab Volleyball championship after losing to Tunisia's Al-Taraji by 1-3 sets. Kazma won the first set by 25-19; however, the tables have turned when Al-Taraji won three sets straight by 21-25, 15-25, and 18-25. Kazma won their previous two matches in group A against the UAE's Baniyas by 3-0 sets and Jordan's Karmal by 3-0 sets as well. The Kuwaiti team lost to Saud Arabia's Al-Ahli by 0-3 sets. Al-Taraji and Al-Ahli qualified to the second round of the competition along with Oman's Al-Saham, Qatar's Al-Arabi, Libya's Al-Ittihad Al-Misrati, Qatar's Al-Ahli, Lebanon's Al-Zahra, and Bahrain's Dar Al-Khulaib.
