More than 270 participants attended the 11th Walk Festival, organised by the General Organization for Youth and Sports (Goys) as part of its plans to strengthen communication among different society segments.Organised in co-operation with the University of Bahrain and Bahrain Down Syndrome Society, the day-long event started from the University of Bahrain premises in Isa Town and continued over a 5-km route.On this occasion, Goys youth affairs director Iman Janahi said the festival has noble goals, one of them was to involve more age group categories participants, and expand awareness on the importance of the role of sports in protecting the society from several diseases.Janahi noted the huge turn out and co-operation from the attendees and their families in making this activity a success
