Qatar’s wrestling star, Abdulrahman Ibraheem secured the first bronze medal for his country at the Francophone Games (Jeux De La Francophone) 2013 in Nice city , France on Saturday. Following a well-praised performance, Qatar’s Ibraheem clinched the bronze medal after defeating the Canadian counterpart , Hudson cydrik in the 66 kg event . In a post-victory press release on Sunday , Ibraheem said he is proud to bring glory for Qatar and confirmed that Qatar Wrestling Federation’s support was behind his achievement. Qatar is participating in the Francophone Games for the first time in four games, including , Athletics, table tennis, wrestling and Judo. Source: Qatar Olympic Committee
