Swiss skier Beat Feuz picked up his first super-G title Friday by catching American Bode Miller in an International Ski Federation event in Italy. Feuz, who described the super-G as his second-best discipline, skied well after Miller Friday and that forced him to go all out to try to catch the American. Miller posted a time of 1 minute 21.81 seconds, which stood until Feuz completed the Saslong course in 1:21.51. Norway\'s Kjetil Jansrud was third at 1:21.95. \"I have no idea what happened to me, this is unbelievable,\" Feuz said. \"All I know is that while waiting for my run, I heard everyone was coming down so far behind and that Miller\'s run was so superior. \"Then the Swiss guys, who were already down, told me that you have to risk it all, no holding back. … To win a super-G, the discipline I always believed to be my second best, this is just amazing.\" The win boosted Feuz\'s super-G point total to 171, well behind discipline leader Aksel Lund Svindal, who has 230 after finishing fourth Friday. Didier Cuche, a countryman of Feuz, is third with 121 and Miller fourth at 119. Svindal also leads the overall standings with 384 points, 24 ahead of Feuz. Americans Ted Ligety (309) and Miller (283) are third and fourth, respectively. The skiers have a downhill race Saturday at Saslong.
