Park In-Bee of South Korea
Taipei - ArabToday

World women's number one Park In-Bee of South Korea pulled off a 10-under-par to claim the sole lead after the second round of the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship in Taipei on Friday.
Park held a three-shot advantage over China's Feng Shanshan with a two-day total of 126 when she pared in after the 15th to finish with a 62 for the $2 million tournament at the par-72 Miramar Golf Country Club.
However, she fell short of recording the second 59 in LPGA history or matching her personal-best round of 2014.
"Everything was working really good out there today. I probably didn’t hit as close as yesterday but I holed a lot of putts today," said Park, who scored nine birdies and an eagle but had one bogey.
"I had a score this year, 61, which was my best round and I really wanted to beat that one. But yeah, just came one short."
Also at the centre of spotlight was American Danielle Kang, who won her second new car with a hole-in-one in two consecutive weeks thanks to a 7-iron which found the bottom of the cup on the 158-yard 17th hole.
"It’s pretty awesome. I was standing there and we all screamed," Kang said. "Everyone was saying: 'Are you kidding me? Again? Another car? And everyone is saying they wanted the car."
South Korean Mirim Lee, a two-time winner on the LPGA this season, jumped to the third place which she shard with three players after she tied with Park for the low round of the day with a 62 -- a ten shot improvement from her opening round.
Taiwan's 17-year-old amateur Cheng Ssu-chia fell to the 8th place with a 70 after firing a six-under-par to tie in the third place in the opening round, while former world number one Taiwanese Tseng Yani slided down to 55th place after posting a disappointing 74.
Defending champion Suzann Pettersen of Norway was in 14th place after posting a 67 with a two-day total of 137.
