Two-time world champion Casey Stoner is set to be inducted into the top motorcycling competition\'s hall of fame as a \"MotoGP Legend\", an official said Friday. The Australian, who will turn 28 next week, retired last year. He won the championship in 2007 and 2011. \"He has been one of the best riders in the history of MotoGP,\" said Carmelo Ezpeleta, the chief executive officer of Dorna, which runs MotoGP. \"His skills are amazing, and he did something very special by winning two championships on two different makes, Ducati and Honda,\" he added in a release Friday. Casey\'s induction will take place next week at the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, where he will join fellow Australian world champions Wayne Gardner and Mick Doohan for a \"lap of honour\".
