It was advantage Europe in the Solheim Cup when the threat of thunder and lightning brought a halt to the first day's play on Friday.
Honours were even 2-2 after the morning foursomes, and Europe was ahead in two matches, behind in one and all square in the other afternoon fourballs when play was suspended.
Anna Nordqvist and Caroline Hedwall were four up against Paula Creamer and Morgan Pressel after ten holes of the top match and Charley Hull and Gwladys Nocera were two up in match two.
Americans Cristie Kerr and Lexi Thompson were two up in the third match, but Germans Sandra Gal and Caroline Mssson were even with Gerina Piller and Brittany Lang in the final fourballs.
