Cairo - Arabstoday

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has slapped ‎Zamalek fullback Ahmed Samir with a two-match ban for ‎spitting at an opponent during his team’s 2-0 Egyptian ‎Premier League victory over Beni Sueif Telephones on ‎Monday.‎ Samir will sit out of Friday’s clash with Masry, which will ‎be played behind closed doors, and will miss a scheduled ‎match with Petrojet on 3 January.‎ The EFA also announced that it had hit Zamalek with an ‎LE40,000 fine due to “the behaviour of the team’s ‎supporters,” without elaborating further.‎ Similarly, Ahly coach Manuel Jose was fined LE5000 ‎after a touchline row with referee Gehad Greisha during ‎the Red Devils’ 1-0 win over Ismaily on Tuesday. ahramonline .
