Member of Popular Front to liberate Palestine Rabah Mehanna said that Gaza will not remain hostage to the interests of Palestinian conflicting groups calling for cooperation between the different groups to neutralize the vital sectors from the political conflicts witnessed in the country to ease the suffering of the Palestinian people living in the Gaza Strip.
He added, in an interview with “Arabs Today”, that the front called in its political meetings to resolve the issue of division, saying that activities of the Front were not enough to force the two parties to split by ending it because their mass power is greater and their personal and personal interests are greater than the national interest.
He blamed bureaucratic complexities involved in the transactions of "medical transfers" to the residents of the Gaza Strip, saying that these complications are designed to impede the conversion of patients who are in urgent need of rapid treatment away from these steps. He added, “There is nothing new about medical transfers except "sweet talk" without any serious action to resolve the crisis of our people in the Gaza Strip after the death of 5 people within 48 hours.”
Regarding the current problem of electricity, he said, “When Muslims get tired of the subject say "hope in God," so "God willing in Paradise" we get electricity. "
He added that the front supports any measure aiming to resolve the challenges facing the residents of the Gaza Strip it does not lead to the separation of the West Bank from the Gaza Strip. He expressed his refusal to any solution based upon agreement with Israel or the American project to undermine the rights of Palestinian people.
He called for opening Gaza Crossing to allow the entry of commodities and to ease the siege imposed on the people of the Gaza Strip from the Israeli occupation for years. He praised the decision taken by the Egyptian authorities to send over million liters of gas to the besieged strip, while they have played a notable role to resolve the electricity crisis.
He added, “Hamas and Israel do not want a military solution in Gaza, while it does not prevent any potential mistakes on the ground in the future, but from my political analysis there is no close war on the Gaza Strip. "
