Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri has said terror must be comprehensively confronted.
In statements to MENA during his current visit to London, Shoukri added that his talks with British officials covered strengthening ties and countering challenges topped by terror and instability in the Mideast region.
The UK and Europe face threats of the Jihadists coming back from Syria and Iraq, said Shoukri, adding that terror must be dealt with comprehensively to counter the effect of fighters coming back home from these countries.
"Also, the international community must deal with this dilemma in all its factors as the only way to counter terror and protect the international community," said Shoukri.
The minister said the UK was the biggest foreign investor in Egypt at total USD 20 Bln investments.
"We need more British investments in some national projects, including the New Suez Canal project," he said.
The British-Egyptian ties are growing as the UK Foreign Secretary visited Cairo recently and a meeting between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and UK Prime Minister David Cameron was held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting, said the minister.
