Hangzhou Greentown scored three goals in 13 minutes to beat Yanbian Fude 4-2 in the Chinese Super League here on Sunday, earning their first away win this season.
Tim Cahill broke the deadlock in the fifth minute with his symbolic header, and Huang Xiyang's powerful long shot enlarged the visitors' lead in the 15th minute.
Denilson Gabionetta almost terminated the suspense from the spot in the 18th minute. But South Korea's international Yoon Bit-Garam pulled one back for the hosts with a volley.
Tan Yang sealed the win for the visitors with a close-range shot in a counter attack before the break.
Greentown, whose coach is South Korean Hong Myung-Bo, weaved a tightly defense line in the second half. Although Steve Trawally scored his second goal in recent three matches in the 88th minute, he could not help Yanbian turn the table around.
"We assessed the situation over-optimistically before the game, and my players couldn't always stay focus during the match," said Park Tae-Ha, who is Yanbian's boss.
"Our rivals' early goals killed off the game," Park added.
