The Sudanese National Congress Party reiterated Friday its rejection of calls by the African Union's Peace and Security Council to hold a preparatory conference for Sudan's national dialogue abroad.
The Sudanese ruling party stressed that the national dialogue should be only among the Sudanese people.
The party's secretary Hamed Momtaz stressed that an inclusive national dialogue cannot possibly be cancelled, especially after Sudan's President Omar al Bashir pardoned all armed movements and rebels who wanted to join the political process.
Momtaz noted that his party will hold several meetings in the coming weeks with parties and armed movements against the dialogue in a bid to get them involved in the process .
